Every year the global cosmetics industry is responsible for more than 120 billion units of packaging. The cardboard alone that wraps perfume, cosmetic and skincare products contributes to the loss of around 18 million acres of forest each year.
Close to 9 million tons of plastic is destined for our oceans annually and 75% of glass that enters our waste system, ends up in landfills where it can take up to 1 million years to biodegrade.
A significant issue for the beauty industry is that most cosmetic containers are comprised of a combination of materials including plastic, glass and metal. This is especially true of spray and pump attachments. Unfortunately you can’t simply dispose of these mixed material items in recycling bins meaning that most empty cosmetic containers end up in landfills.
Our goal is to create a "zero-waste" skincare brand. While this will be an evolving journey, we are committed to bringing to market high-quality products in packaging that will not contribute to ocean or landfill waste.
Formulated using only the highest quality, all natural, ethically-sourced ingredients, our handmade products are 100% vegan and include powerful active compounds derived from wild-harvested Australian native botanicals.
Not content to be simply clean and green, we are proud to be leading the "blue beauty" revolution by taking an entirely holistic approach to skincare that values people and the planet equally.
To this end, our complete skincare range is delivered in plastic-free, glass-free containers that are infinitely recyclable. We also have an incentive program to encourage the return of empty containers for reuse creating a completely closed loop.
Our mission is simple. We aim to create beautiful skincare that you will not only love to use, but feel good about using knowing that you are contributing to a cleaner, greener planet!
